THE SNEAKING IN .....
I didn't want to go back to my book. I could feel my stomach somer-saulting. Sandwich was over and I was hungry.
I put on my slippers and headed on to the door. Just when I was about to unbolt the door, I heard her voice again, "Hey, what are you upto?"
I looked back n replied,"To the cafe. Feeling hungry!"
"But, they don't serve anything after 10," she replied.
I glanced onto my watch, it showed 10:10. I cursed myself for not accompanying Sonia when she asked me to. With a heavy heart, I walked back to my bed.
"Hey, I guess you didn't listen me right. I said " THEY " don't serve after 10," her eyes twinkled.
After next 5 minutes I found myself in the dark cafe room.
Yes, I sneaked into the cafe! We opened the referigerator and stuffed the food items in our clothes. We had covered our faces with a piece of cloth, thus, giving us a terrorist like looks! "Just for precaution," described Sonia for our appearance.
"Let's leave," I persuaded her.
"Wait, let's take those burgers too.. they look delicious..." she said while getting a hold of the burgers and finally closing the referigerator.
We were returning back to the doors when Sonia shrieked, my heart missed a beat. "I left the ketchup..." she replied when I looked on at her curiously. I felt like kicking her ass. I almost had a heart-attack.
I was naturally nervous and felt stupid to agree with Sonia's CRAZY idea of sneaking into the college cafe at this hour of night.
Sonia took the ketchup and closed the referigerator with a loud thud.
"Sh...slowly," I almost shouted, but, managed to keep my voice low. I could have killed her for doing this.
"Oops..sorry," Sonia replied realizing her mistake. "HAPPY REALIZATION!" I thought.
But, I guess it was too late. As soon as we reached the doors, they opened up!

CHAPTER 3
TALKS
Yeah, It was true. I was feeling home-sick, But, I can't let others know about it. No way I am going to budge my secret out and let others laugh over me and my weakness.
I was feeling damn hungry, but, I didn't want to leave my room. Somehow it felt safe in there. So, I went back to my novel. At least, it was interesting.... so unlike me!
Relief didn't last too long as I saw my roomy back within 10 minutes.
She came in and quickly bolted the door. She unvieled a plastic paper underneath her clothes and walked towards me.
"Here you are. SANDWICH! I thought you might be hungry," she said while holding out the sandwich to me.
"It's a pretty difficult job, you know. They don't allow food and stuffs into the room, so, I hid it into my clothes," and she winked at me.
"Wow, too fast to break the rules! Good going,' I smiled while still munching on my sandwich.
"How mean! Not even a thanks and instead you are being sarcastic because I broke one of your damn rules! And by the ways , they say rules are made to be brokens and I don't give a damn if I broke hundreds of them,' she continued.
Whoa! If she is gonna be my roomy, then, I guess 18 months are going to be real fun!
I just smiled on at her. She was going to open her "BIG" mouth once again when her cell rang.
'Great timing,' I thought while thanking God a ton times.
Most of the girls keep on chirping, but, I am more of a listener.
Sonia picked up her cell, flashed a million dollar worth smile and finally attended the call.
'Boy-friend,' I guessed while noticing her smile.
Yes, Girls do have this uncanny habit of jumping onto conclusions and keep on guessing out things every now-and-then. And the best part is ---- 'I AM NO MORE AN EXCEPTION'
I ran my eyes into my novel while Sonia was busy talking to her.... 'MAY-BE' boy-friend. I couldn't hear any of her conversation, but, at times I did scratch my head hard enough to try to think WHAT the hell people in a relationship ACTUALLY talk???
I NEVER KNEW AND NOW DON'T EVEN CARE TO KNOW!!
I noticed Sonia blushing at times and playing with her bracelet at the other times while talking.
Girls in love ALWAYS go crazy. In short they become LOVE-MANIACS. I never had even the slightest idea of why people do waste their precious time in the so-called realationship 'love'. I've seen many of them breaking up, going nuts and at the end trying hard to end up themselves by consuming all the sleeping pills, doing a hell lot of good favour to the companies making them, but, still if they remain alive they don't do anything, but, curse the poor quality of the sedative and at most of the other time their screwed luck!
Yet, they call it 'DIVINE', but, i've got another word for these kind of people - 'FREAKS'

CHAPTER 2
FLY HIGH AVIATION ACADEMY
I reached my destination soon :
FLY HIGH AVIATION ACADEMY
I was going to pursue my CPL - Commercial Pilot Licensing course in here. My father escorted me to the campus and after I had checked into my hostel room, he left for Delhi soon. The old man had made sure that his precious daughter was safe, so, he returned back.
After settling up in my hostel room, I started reading a novel. I was engrossed in it when a girl came in.
5 feet d inches tall, perfect figure, and easily one of those drop-dead gorgeous ones .
We girls do categorise each other like that and that too in an instant.Sounds creepy, but, probably this ability owes to our good observation skill!
She made her way in and it was probably then she noticed me for the first time.
"Hi! I am your roomy, Sonia Avasthy... 18 years of age," she spoke out confidently and waited for me to come out with an introduction too.
Obviously, I was startled by her sudden invasion on my privacy. I took some time to come back to myself and fumbled for words. I finally came out with these words, "Shirene D'souza , same age."
Sonia gave me one of her prettiest smile which I duly returned back.
Though I can bet, mine was no match in front of hers.
Few hours passed and no one spoke. I was glued onto my novel and Sonia seemed busy un-packing.
'I am done with my stuff and I am pretty hungry right now. Are you coming down with me to the cafe?' Sonia enquired.
'No, I am fine. You go on,' I spoke half-heartedly.
"Feeling home-sick?" she asked
And then my fear came back. I can't let them know that I am a small home-sick kid. Of course not , I would be a laughing stock in front of all.
So NATURALLY I lied.
'No, I am pretty fine,' I lied trying hard to cover up my feelings and I guess I did a pretty nice job because she finally DID leave.

CHAPTER 1
THE JOURNEY
'Do take care of yourself.... and don't forget to eat properly....'
'Do you want a cup of tea ma'am?' I heard a boy screaming that from outside the train. I came out of my train of thoughts and finally looked around.
'Shirene, do you wish to have a cup of tea?' a man of 50 next to me enquired. It was my father.
"No papa, You can have it..." I replied. I looked around myself and found a few more passengers around. I was travelling to Hyderabad via train.
I glanced onto watch. It showed 6 p.m. 'Few more hours and I would be in the campus,' I thought.
I was still thinking about my family, especially, my concerned mother. Her words still rang through my ears. I had never been away from my home. This is the first time when I will have to spend my next 18 months of life away from my town, my home.... my friends and my family.
This was asking too much from a person like me.Still, I was determined.... determined to become a pilot. I will make it... though this would have meant that I need to sacrifice quite a few things.. still..I was determined to do it... at the least for my FUTURE!
